ACER conducts the WST at multiple test centres across Victoria, with computer-based tests offered during specific dates.
Various session times are available depending on location, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.If you cannot attend a local venue, ACER also offers the WST online via remote proctoring, allowing you to take the test from home under live webcam supervision.

All applicants for the test must first register with FRV.
Your invitation to complete the WST from FRV will include a link to the ACER Portal and a timeline for completing your registration.
Booking is completed online through the ACER portal.
ACER does not accept any requests to book the WST from members of the public.
The fee to sit the WST is $238 (gst incl) paid directly to ACER.

The WST is a 2 hour and 5 minute online assessment. Each of the four components is scored and timed separately.

The abstract reasoning test is a multiple-choice test. There are 30 questions to be completed in 35 minutes.
It is recommended you work steadily through each question and do not spend too much time on any one question. If you think you know the answer to a question, mark it, even if you are not certain. Go on to the next question and come back later if you have time.
