Refunds - Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV)

You may be entitled to a refund of your registration fee under the Australian Consumer Law in certain limited circumstances. You may request a refund beyond those limited circumstances, up until ten (10) business days before your scheduled sitting of the Fire Rescue Victoria Written Selection Test (WST). After that time, you may only request a refund that complies with the limited circumstances allowed by the Australian Consumer Law, more specifically, where there has been a serious failure in the goods or services provided under these terms and conditions.

Terms & conditions

If the limited circumstances of the Australian Consumer Law that allow a refund do not apply to your circumstances, you will be charged a $55 administrative charge.
If you register for but do not sit the test, and did not give prior notification and where the limited circumstances where a refund is allowed under the Australian Consumer Law do not apply, your registration fee will not be refunded; and such circumstances may eliminate you from registering to sit a WST for a period of 6 months from the scheduled test date.
ACER reserves the right to absolutely refuse or cancel a registration in circumstances where your registration is not bona fide or is not received ten (10) business days prior to your sitting of the WST.
